The Annual AOH Girardville St. Patrick's Day Parade is the biggest little St. Patrick's Day Parade this side of the Atlantic! Mother Nature was a bit uncooperative the last few years - and St. Patrick only knows we can't complain 'cause we've been blessed for so many years - but the Parade Committee has decided to schedule the 2019 Parade on Saturday, March 30th, at 12 noon.  The new later date in March should not be disrupted by late winter snow storms like in the past two years..

Join us in Girardville, Pa., everybody's Irish American home town - on Saturday, March 30th, 2019. The Parade steps off at 12 noon sharp. Whether you march, volunteer, or just come and celebrate all things Irish and the official kick off for Spring, get there early and dress warm.

Hosted by Girardville's Jack Kehoe Division #1, Ancient Order of Hibernians, and Daughters of Erin Division #18, Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, and assisted by other dedicated community groups, officials, and individuals, this is truly a hometown, as well as regional, parade in every sense of the word.

If you were registered to march already, you will have received a call from our Parade Coordinator, Joanne Kitsock, advising you of the change. If you have not received a call, please contact Joanne at 570-617-0400 with a phone number and mailing address ASAP. New marchers, floats, organizations, and businesses are always invited to become part of our parade family.

At 10 am, on Parade Day, there will be an Irish Mass at St. Vincent's Worship Center, 2nd St. and Mahanoy Ave. celebrated by Fr. Paul Rothermal. All are welcome!

If you would like to be a parade sponsor or patron for the 2019 Annual Girardville St. Patrick's Day Parade , please consider taking an ad in our annual Parade Book. Volunteers are always welcome, as well as donations and sponsors. Contact Joseph Wayne, Parade Chairman, at 570-590-1826.

Press and public relations, please contact Mike Kitsock at 570-617-0400.

Following the parade, come back to the festivities outside the Hibernian House, Jack Kehoe's pub, which continues to be operated by his great grandson and parade chairman, Joe Wayne for the parade winners, impromptu pipe and drum band performances, food, refreshments, and more. Parade shirts, commemorative books, raffle tickets, and other mementos will be available for purchase during and after the parade.

The theme for this year's 2019 parade is "Girardville Good Times".. Our Grand Marshall for this year will soon be announced. Our parade is dedicated to the citizens of Girardville. The 2019 Annual AOH Girardville St. Patrick's Day Parade parade shirts and 2019 souvenir parade book will be available soon.
